We dropped into Coolaught Gardens and Garden Centre (Caroline and Harry Deacon) in Clonroche, Co. Wexford, during the week, always a good port of call when you want something special, a tasty plant. As expected, Caroline told us to feel free to take a walk around the garden and I had brought my camera with me in anticipation. The bulb lawn at the front of the house is just beginning its display, mainly of crocus with snowdrops and daffodils, and there was also lots of interest in the main garden which is, in my opionion, probably the best place around to see interesting and beautiful shrubs and trees, so well worth a visit through the year. Anyway, enjoy the photographs:

That’s exactly it; no contrivance nor pretense; a simple but beautiful country garden.
