Serendipity!

These moments are to be treasured, these moments of fortunate coincidence, of happy chance and the good fortune to be there to see it and, almost better still, to record it.

A short walk in the garden this morning brought me to a shaft of low sunlight shooting under a large camellia – Camellia ‘Donation’ – and onto a group of snowdrops, Galanthus ‘Lapwing’, in front of a terracotta pot and surrounded by the fallen blooms from the camellia. A perfect moment!

    1. A new(ish) camera has a flip-out screen on the back making it very easy to get these low-angle shots and spares the knees and hips so very well.

    1. This is something I don’t understand. I thought it might link to one of your blogs but it doesn’t seem to do so. I am perplexed – what was that old song…perplexed, bothered and bewildered!
