We were at the kitchen sink; the kitchen window faces south and the low sunshine lit up the small Ginkgo which grows in a raised bed immediately outside.
Ginkgo biloba ‘Troll’
In the spirit of Carpe lumen I went immediately for my camera, for the light can change so very quickly and the pretty picture which catches one’s eye can be gone in moments.
Two clicks in and….
casually strolling by….“Oh! What are you doing? Are you taking photographs? ““Get me from this side. Good?”“Or maybe, this side!”“Yeah, I’m gorgeous! Now, have you anything to eat? I’m famished from all this posing for you.”A few of the pals just “happened” to be around and were delighted to join the picnic. The light was still good and the Ginkgo still as beautiful and as golden. Everybody went home happy!
I enjoy having them in the garden very much and feed them every morning when I go to feed our hens. They approach us in the garden very often and are not disturbed by our presence, very at home here.
Delightful photos of magic captured.
